Eleanor Dandy, Business Services Manager

Eleanor works with clients to find the right solution for their business needs.  Eleanor manages ACEVO Consulting,

has developed key services for ACEVO Solutions that include; ACEVO Consulting, ACEVO’s Governance Review Service, ACEVO’s work with Local Authorities and Full Cost Solutions. Eleanor has managed a programme of training in partnership with Newham Council; she has worked with the local third and private sectors in the area to up-skill and capacity build their organisations.  In being so involved in running a number of services for the third sector, she is constantly exposed to problems, solutions and best practice. Eleanor also has experience in the private sector, as a specialist not for profit recruiter with TPP for over two years; dealing with many different types of organisations and stakeholders. Eleanor is an experienced project manager and capable of balancing many different projects.  Eleanor also has vast experience in organising workshops for diverse stakeholders. 

John Gillespie, Business Planning Consultant

John Gillespie is ACEVO’s principle in house consultant and facilitator, a role which combines delivering consultancy to ACEVO clients and developing ACEVO Solutions’ business. John has considerable experience of delivering consultancy for voluntary and public sector clients, having worked previously in an independent capacity with clients including Middlesbrough council, the Novas Scarman Group, Timebanks UK, and HELP (Health Empowerment Leverage Project). He has delivered training for Timebanks UK and In Control. His consultancy work with his clients includes negotiation and influencing, support around business development and marketing, strategy, organisational change. Specialist areas are social investment and finance.
